Our next meet begins on November 10th – 15th at Elm Cottage CW7 2HZ.
Unfortunately there has been a mix up with the booking of the hall so we are unable
to use it. So sadly we will not be able to have the sixties themed social as planned.
If anyone plans eating in the Shrewsbury Arms on Saturday night, they have asked if
you could pre order the meal on Friday.
If there is any youth who have past their youth test and would like to go on the FICC in France. please can they contact your youth leader Kath Hodgkiss. As deposits are required before the end of November.
This weekend 4th-6th November we will be joining Lancs and chesh at strines for their bonfire meet.
Join us on our Halloween meet at Lower Whitley Village Hall WA4 4EJ from 28th -30th Oct. Dress up your units and awnings, Saturday night in the hall, pumpkin carving competition, fancy dress competition, American Supper and much more.
Come and join us at St. Annes Cricket Club, FY8 2RQ from 19th – 24th October. Only a short walk to the beach and located close to Blackpool for visiting the illuminations, the Tower, don’t forget Blackpool Zoo and much more.
Come and join us at Dale Hey Farm, Ribchester PR3 3XL from October 5th – 10th for
our 5 night meet. Saturday Night social in the barn featuring music and singing from
Gareth McKenzie. Please bring your own drinks and nibbles plus an American Supper.
There are plenty of walks from Ribchester and local pubs to visit, a large
playground in the village for the children, as well as a Roman museum
and remains of the Roman baths.
September 23rd – 25th is our DA FOL at Park Fold Farm, Bolton, BL2 4JP, This years Theme is
Female Artists, it could be anything from
Taylor Swift to Tracy Emin.
This weekend, 16th – 18th September we will be at Edisford Bridge, BB7 3LJ, Great for a visit to clitheroe or a walk down the river
Our next meet is on September 9th – 11th at Farmer Parrs, Fleetwood, FY7 8JP
While in the area why not take a drive down the coast and visit Cleveleys, Blackpool
and see the illuminations, or visit Freeport for your shopping.
We have currently not got any stewards for the weekend meet at Eddisford Bridge for the weekend 16th to 18th September. We would like to ask if someone can step forward to steward this weekend for your DA. If someone comes forward it will save us having to cancel this weekend. We need to know by reply to this email no later than Friday 9th September All help is appreciated and thank you all in advance
Our next weekend meet September 2nd – 4th is being held at Greaves Farm, Cabus, PR3 1AA
There are lovely walks along the canals, visit Garstang, the City
of Lancaster and the the Prison in the Castle is well worth a visit.
Our Next meet is a THS at Bilton Park, Ripon HG1 4DL, 19th – 31st August.
A great site to explore Yorkshire from. Close to Ripon, Knaresborough, Harrogate
and Mother Shiptons Cave.
