Hello all, my name is Nick Hanson and I'm a Researcher with Liverpool based TV production company Mersey Television. We're currently developing an idea for a series on caravans and motorhomes and would like to find some people in the Northwest region who would be willing to contribute to a short pilot tape. Ideally we would like to find people who have had their caravan/motorhome modified or would like advise on how to go about doing this. If you're interested you can contact me at nhanson@merseytv.com. Thanks.

Anyone know if i can get my membership money back?.As the caravan club looks a better club. C&CC site is a pile of crap no email address just a phone number and a postal address. Quick enough to get your money with the online joining. But no forums or customer feedback you phone all there sites to get sorry fully booked up i bet they are non members .Get the 30 quid joining fee and the 5pound a night extra fee from non members. Dred my next phone bill .

Reply to Paul,
There should be no need to prebook months in advance! - Why not try one of our weekend meets? There is generally no need to book (unless of course it is a booked meet) and you will always get a warm and friendly welcome. Please feel free to contact us if you require any further info

Hello fellow campers. I love all these regional websites, means we can keep in touch at home as well as 'in the field'.

Please does anyone know address of suppliers of caravan steps with handrails for disabled people?

My outfit is 30" high from the ground so we are having mountaineering difficulties as normal steps are too low.

Thanks. Happy camping.

Does Bolton class as South Lancashire? if not which would be the best club for us?
At this stage we are looking to buy our 1st 2 berth touring caravan - is there any publications or help available on what to buy/what to avoid? (Max spend would be around £7k).
(Something on the lines of the WHich magazine idea)
We have two lovely well behaved dogs (Chihuaha and a Shih Tzu)will they be allowed on sites and organised trips?

How much is it to join?

On the fixture list, what do the 2nd and far right hand columns indicate? e.g. Is the AGM at Garstang mentioned on the fixture list for Committee members only or can any SLDA members attend? Is it also a meet and what time does it start and what is it's likely duration? Although we have been C&CC members for 7 years we have never attended a SLDA rally or meting, so please excuse our ignorance.

Thanks,
