Cartmel Easter 2007

South Lancs DA's Easter Holiday Site at Cartmel Racecourse 2007

The DA's 2007 Easter Holiday site was opened at 12 noon on Friday 5th April and closed on Sunday 15th April.

The main part of the meet was over the Easter weekend when we had approx 140 units on site.

Events that took place over the weekend included - an 8 mile walk on Saturday led by the youth, evening social held at the village Scout hut - this was where we held the Easter Bonnet Parade. Sunday saw the morning start with a Chick hunt for the children of the site, closley followed by the start of the Boules competition. The local baseball club hold a duck race through Cartmel Village from 2pm on Easter Sunday so we suspended the games till later in the afternoon when we continued the Boules and started the Wellie Throwing, Horse racing and Hoofers competitions

With all the games completed and the Grand Raffle drawn - Monday morning showed the Easter Prize giving/ Bring Your Own Coffee Morning. Pick this link to see the photos of the presentations
